hehehehe...i caught some lightning bugs and put 'em in a baby food jar...cjs kept licking the jar, the bugs would light up, then he would jump back...then he'd do it again....it was tooooo funny Laughing Laughing Laughing well worth the 10 mins to catch the little boogers, lol Smile a free toy Very Happy

boo hoo, i need my camcorder back! (currently it is in florida on a 'pre' honeymoon)...kids! Rolling Eyes
...don't worry, i let the bugs out after CJS went to bed, so they can peacefully live the rest of their 2 day lives, lol...will catch 'em again tonite! Very Happy

the mayfly has a 5-30 minute lifespan if they're lucky they will get 1 full day lifespan, depending on the species.

now thinking of the 7 yr locusts, will have to look 'em up to see when i will spend most of summer inside again (its been awhile now Shocked ) those things are the creepiest!....crunching on dead bugs to walk on the sidewalk...ewww! ...they have to be due soon....i'm not a huge 'bug' fan, yuk. pale
