One of my neighbours, andy has a parakeet named charlie and he's recently been in hospital (my neighbour, not charlie) what i didn't know was that charlie had been on his own for nearly two weeks with only twice a day visits from andys sister.

What i was wondering was if ever this happens again, would he be o.k with my cag jasper even if it's only for a few weeks,i did say they could bring him round any time,it's better than him being on his own surley.

i don't think there would be any problem...cjs is always around mr. gimp (now that mrs. gump has flown away)...be around i mean in the same room during the daytime, not same cage...if you're worried about disease and such, you could always put the keet in a different room, i never did, but didn't know any better when i brought cjs home to start...

just put charlie in a different room then, their cages are lots smaller and easier to place...to be on the safe side...but honestly still don't see any harm in same room- i did it not knowing any better, and had no problems- heard that its not good practice though now, so of course i wouldn't 'suggest' it. keets chatter up a storm, all day long...little twitters, lol...very uplifting for the soul Smile
