i know someone who is wanting a baby African Grey, they currently have a 14 year old male cockatiel, who has never been introduced to other birds.

will he have any problems putting them in the same room together (separate cages)?

the cockatiel is well looked after, so i have offered to help him get a Grey. i will also post in the buy & sell section.

I cant see any problem with them in the same room as long as theyre not able to get to each other and both get their seperate time out. I had a ringneck with Bella and Bella was terrified of her if they were loose together, Billy flew too fast i think so poor Bella headed straight for me for safety!

yeah, just make sure they don't meet. My cockatiel loves going on Grey's cage, and Grey tries to bite her feet off, I usually stand on guard when the cockatiel is out, so never let them get too close.
